THE TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS COMPANY

  FOR INMEDIATE DISTRIBUTION                                           20/MARCH/2020

Lake Ontario EXPRESS Inc wants to help our governments in the fight against the corona virus (Covid-19).

For this reason our team has decided to put our Toronto/Lower Niagara Peninsula Project ON HOLD until further notice.

Furthermore, we have decided to utilize the conceptual design of the Hovercraft for the ferry (the AHS-24M/MH) to be fitted as a Medical Laboratory or a Clinic.

A hovercraft is an amphibious vessel, suitable for most terrains and waters, including frozen or not frozen rivers and it can reach places with no harbors or docks. In addition it is suitable to be used in the Arctic all year round with minimum downtime due to weather factors.

This unit will have an overall length of 23.56 meters by an overall beam of 11.03 meters.

The internal area available for mission-related equipment is 63 m2 on the Main Deck.

Standard Fuel Capacity ………………………4,000 Liters (1000 US gal)

Payload with 4,000 L of fuel (diesel)…...…….8,600 Kg (9.5 tons)

All diesel engines will be fitted with Hydrogen Injection to minimize emissions and enhance range.

Performance:

Maximum speed (calm water, wind still)………………………45Knots (83Km/h)

Cruising speed (calm water, wind still)…………………..…….35 knots (65Km/h)

Maximum range ………………………………………………..555 Km

In addition, Lake Ontario EXPRESS Inc. has decided to utilize the expertise of its team members to make available to our governments or other parties in need, a Mobile Hospital Unit on a HOVERCRAFT. This unit can accommodate 6 beds for patients, plus sleeping quarters for crew, doctors and nurses. This hovercraft could also be used as a SUPPLY VESSEL to provide medical equipment, medicines and personnel to stationary mobile hospitals in isolated settlements all year round at high speed.

This unit will have an overall length of 42.15 meters by an overall beam of 17.20 meters.

The internal area available for mission-related equipment is 238 m2 on the Main Deck.

Long Range Fuel Capacity …………………………………26,000 Liters (6,800 gal)

Payload with 26,000 L of fuel … (diesel)……….………………33,150 Kg (36 tons)

All diesel engines will be fitted with Hydrogen Injection to minimize emissions and enhance range.

Performance:

Maximum speed (calm water, wind still)………………………45 Knots (83km/h)

Cruising speed (calm water, wind still)…………………..…….35 knots (65km/h)

Maximum range ……………………………………………….1,111 km

These units are designed by ARGOS HOVER SYSTEMS in ENSENADA, MEXICO, and can be built at their Shipyards (Servicios Portuarios, S.A. de C.V.) or under license anywhere in Canada, or in both places, in order to minimize the schedule.

We also offer training, for all aspects of operation and maintenance, of our equipment.
